As an LCSW at St. Charles Counseling Services, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, and available resources.
• Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that include specific goals and interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educational staff, to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
• Providing crisis intervention, conducting risk assessments, and formulating safety plans for at-risk clients.
• Maintaining timely, accurate documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance across all patient-related records.
• Leading group therapy, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to foster community and engagement among clients.

In this role, you will primarily engage with a diverse range of students from various socioeconomic backgrounds. You will provide essential support for individuals facing typical adolescent challenges, as well as more acute mental health issues, contributing significantly to their emotional wellbeing and academic success. The role seeks to empower clients, offering them the tools they need to overcome obstacles and build resilience.

The following qualifications are required for this role:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills that promote a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.

We prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health settings, particularly in outpatient environments or educational institutions.
• Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to USD 105,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus.
