We are currently seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst - Remote Canada Role to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

NTT Data is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst. This role will be a BA on medium-scale projects and enhancements with a focus on integrating core applications with Salesforce. This role will help drive transformational and strategic solutions by formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on user needs., This role will work closely with vendor partners, team members, business, and IT leaders to elicit and document business needs and requirements. A candidate for this position must be a self-starter and able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment as part of a service delivery function 

 

Day to Day Job Function

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Administrators, and Developers to design and implement solutions.
  • Analyze and recommend Salesforce standard functionalities before considering custom development.
  • Support release planning, sprint execution, and production deployments.
  • Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and governance standards.
  • Salesforce Cloud Skills
  • Business requirements gathering and documentation for projects and enhancements
  • Manage and facilitate communications between IT teams, business, and vendors
  • Assist in formulating and designing system scope and objectives based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential solution options. Support the resolution via projects and enhancements through to production deployment
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to project team members concerning Salesforce
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Conduct operational support turnover activities including creation of Quick Reference Guides, Standard Operating Procedures, and other job aids as applicable
  • Perform special duties and other projects as assigned
  • Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the company
  • Establish and build strong working relations and partnerships with various levels of IT team members, stakeholders, Business Units and Senior Management

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst is required
  • 6+ years of experience gathering requirements for at least one complete Salesforce project that involved integrations.
  • 6+ year of eperience writing business requirements and functional specs. Ability to decompose complex business and data requirements into specifications for developers and other stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of experience in SDLC - waterfall and agile methodologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in the insurance industry or P&C sector or Insurtech.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to take the initiative to accomplish goals, with minimal oversight and direction.

The starting pay range for this remote role is $92,599.00 to $126,324.00 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for the Company’s comprehensive benefits program in Canada, including customizable health and dental coverage with telemedicine, wellness credits, and gym discounts.
