You will play a crucial role in guiding clients towards recovery and personal growth, making a lasting impact on their lives.

About the Organization

The Private Counseling Group is not merely a treatment provider; we are a supportive community committed to the mental well-being and empowerment of our clients. We embrace the philosophy of transformative careโ€”dedicated to inspiring change and unlocking the potential within each person we serve.

Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to create a balanced and flexible work-life arrangement while interacting with clients via telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office provides resources and support for remote work, ensuring you have the tools necessary to deliver effective counseling. Our organizational culture values respect, collaboration, and inclusivity, providing a positive environment for both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions that encourage clients to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another in a supportive environment.
  • Individual Counseling: Provide empathetic, one-on-one therapy that helps clients explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and create actionable plans for improvement.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design personalized, goal-driven treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess and document clientsโ€™ progress, utilizing various evaluation tools and feedback to inform care strategies and therapeutic approaches.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to coordinate care, communicate client progress, and address complex cases effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically targets young adults who may be dealing with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and transitional life challenges. You will create a safe space for clients to express themselves, regain confidence, and learn coping mechanisms essential for their journeys towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Licensure: Must possess a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with clients in outpatient or residential settings, specifically focusing on mood disorders and other mental health challenges.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: A collaborative attitude aligned with our mission to promote positive change and ensure the wellbeing of our clients.
  • Clinical Skills: Proficient in methodologies such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), along with strong documentation practices.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in telehealth settings will be beneficial. Candidates with a background in facilitating group therapy sessions or working with diverse populations will be given preference, as will those who have specialized training in trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: Competitive annual salary of $85,000 โ€“ $100,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Includes medical, dental, and vision insurance to care for you and your family.
  • Financial Security: Access to short-term and long-term disability insurance, as well as life insurance plans.
  • 401(k) Plan: A robust retirement savings plan with up to a 5% employer match to help you plan for the future.
  • Paid Time Off: Enjoy four weeks of paid time off annually, providing a balanced approach to work and personal time.
  • Employee Assistance Program: Access to a wide range of resources, including counseling, legal advice, financial consulting, and wellness coaching.
  • Professional Development: Continued education support and free clinical supervision to enhance your skills and career growth.
Career Growth Opportunities

At the Private Counseling Group, we prioritize your professional development, ensuring you have access to resources and mentorship to advance your career.
