Job description

Who We Are
At Trility Consulting®, we've built a strong, remote-work culture where people thrive, grow, and support each other - earning us Great Place to Work® Certification. Headquartered in Central Iowa, we embrace flexible schedules and collaboration across geographically distributed teams serving clients from all corners of the United States and globally.
We seek team members with the grit necessary to forge paths where none previously existed, to get back up when circumstances knock them down, to adapt to the changing needs of the client even when it is uncomfortable, and to deliver on our commitments. Candidates must respect and value people, recognize that over-communication is barely good enough, thrive on solving complex problems, have a passion for building teams, and know that delivering what a client actually values is more important than their own predispositions. They understand value proposition, love delivering value, and take pride in learning the expansive and ever-changing business of clients. Candidates are self-motivated and relentlessly working to become more today than they were yesterday.
What You Will Do
Trility Consulting is seeking an experienced Delivery Consultant to help our clients maximize their investment with us. You'll do this by understanding their business, applying your skills to the project, and delivering value from day one. As a Delivery Consultant, you'll leverage your breadth of experience to ensure and validate that the team frequently delivers tangible value to the client by working at the intersection of business value and technology enablement. You'll need to understand where the client is, where they want to go, and how you and Trility can help them get there.
This is a remote W2 or 1099 position.
At this time, Trility is only able to hire W2 employees who reside in the following states:
Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Delaware, North Carolina, Ohio, and Utah.
Mindset, Leadership, and Ownership
  • Servant Leadership: You act as an influencer without authority and a true servant leader, realizing that titles do not drive leadership.
  • Extreme Ownership: You accept full responsibility for project outcomes, successes, and failures without looking for excuses. You do not wait for permission; you identify gaps in the delivery process and fill them to maintain momentum.
  • Curiosity & Growth: You possess an insatiable curiosity, asking "why" to uncover root causes rather than accepting the status quo. You view every project as a classroom, aggressively seeking new tools and methodologies to evolve professionally. You seek to be the most interested person in the room, not the most interesting.
  • Continuous Improvement: You are relentless in the pursuit of "better," proactively seeking feedback to ensure you are more capable today than yesterday.

Business Drivers and Value Maximization
  • Value Focus: You think in terms of product value maximization, driving business value for the client whether leading or functioning as a teammate.
  • Economic Understanding: You look past immediate scope to master the client's "economic engine", understanding how they generate revenue, lose margin, and how the project impacts their bottom line.
  • Strategic Alignment: You connect technical execution to financial outcomes, ensuring prioritization is backed by data regarding client KPIs and ROI. You treat the client's budget with the same prudence as if you were the owner.
  • Vision Execution: You partner with teammates and stakeholders to execute shared product visions while managing change management impacts.

The Art of Project Management & Execution
  • The Iron Triangle: You balance the "art and science" of the project iron triangle (scope, schedule, cost) without sacrificing quality or team health.
  • Expectation Management: You navigate the differences between what the contract says versus what the client says.
  • Stakeholder Management: You map influence versus interest to ensure communication is transparent, tailored, and timely for all audiences.
  • Risk & Quality: You actively identify and mitigate risks before they become issues, viewing risk management as a strategic shield. You maintain rigorous attention to quality assurance to ensure deliverables fulfill the business intent.
  • Blocker Removal: You view "blockers" as challenges to be owned and dismantled to keep the team moving.
  • Methodology: You turn client desires into demonstrable story maps and have experience with Jira and Confluence. You have experience with estimation, planning, prioritization, and release management.

Technical Delivery & Analysis
  • Agile Proficiency: You understand Agile/iterative delivery and have experience leading and building full lifecycle software products. You utilize the Agile Body of Knowledge while journeying to master your craft.
  • Analyst Mindset: You approach problems with an analyst mindset, leveraging facts and data to back every suggestion or improvement.
  • Closure: You drive project closure effectively, operationalizing lessons learned to improve future cycles.

Client Relations & Team Success
  • Success Planning: You work with the client and Client Partner to outline success metrics and the plan to achieve them.
  • Collaboration: You regularly collaborate with Client Partners to understand the landscape, opportunities, and risks.
  • Trust: You act as a trusted advisor to the client and your team.
  • Execution: Where applicable, you drive the buildout of the project backlog and the fulfillment of work efforts

What You Bring
The Delivery Consultant focuses on execution, relationship building, and applying Agile experience to standard delivery environments.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Agile Program/Project Management experience and/or Software Product Management.
• Strategic Understanding: Experience understanding client strategic initiatives, roadmaps, business problems, and goals.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Comfortable working with client leaders as well as individual contributors who are "in the weeds" of the project.
• Communication: Possess great relational skills to build rapport, trust, and a positive reputation while serving the client.
How We Put You First
Trility's culture is built upon the journey, character, and work ethic of our team members. We are a team of honorable and professional lifelong learners who work together to solve problems proactively.
• Work remotely anywhere in the United States with flexible work hours
• Paid time-off, company holidays, and floating holidays
• Comprehensive benefits with contributions toward premiums
• 401(k) plan
• Sponsored and supported learning opportunities
Job Requirements
• Must reside within the United States
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to pass a background check
