Working remotely, they utilize communication and collaboration tools to stay connected with their teams and manage tasks efficiently.

What does a remote SDET do?

As a remote SDET, which stands for software development engineer in test, your responsibilities involve the performance, security, and general testing of software applications and programs. Even though you work from home to complete your duties, you are present throughout the product design process, from development to testing to the end product. You typically help develop programs, provide assistance for a framework, design applications, and use automation tools to test the final product. You must also understand the guidelines and standards for the finished product.
