Job Description:The client is seeking a QA Engineer to support testing efforts for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This individual will focus on manual testing, bug validation, and ensuring high-quality application releases in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on iOS and Android mobile applications
- Download, navigate, and validate application functionality across devices
- Execute existing test cases and document results
- Identify, reproduce, and report defects
- Track and manage bugs through JIRA
- Validate bug fixes and regression test new releases
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure product quality
- Support application release readiness efforts
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of experience manually testing iOS and Android applications
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and ticket management
- Background working within a software development QA environment
- Experience identifying, documenting, and validating bugs and fixes
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
