To thrive as a Remote Script Writer, you need strong storytelling abilities, excellent command of language, and experience in scriptwriting for various media formats, often supported by a portfolio of previous work. At RethinkFirst, we are on a mission to inspire and empower educators, behavioral health, and employers with solutions that address some of the biggest challenges today - employee burnout, student mental health, behavioral issues, and the need for effective interventions.
We are seeking a talented content writer with a passion for education and experience in EdTech, Behavioral Health, or Benefits Administration to help us create engaging and impactful content.
Role Overview
We're looking for a skilled and experienced marketing content writer with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. This person will work alongside the marketing team in partnership with sales and product teams to create high-quality, targeted content that resonates with our target audiences and drives measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Develop engaging, high-quality content for our website, landing pages, blog, social media platforms, and email campaigns as well as case studies, thought leadership articles, video scripts, and additional content as needed.
  • Help develop and iterate on RethinkFirst's voice, tone and messaging guidelines.
  • Create copy for various marketing materials such as sales collateral, brochures, and presentations, and ensure that the messaging is consistent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, customer success, design studio, and sales to develop messaging, positioning, content, and emails that align with business objectives.
  • Edit and proofread all market-facing content for accuracy, grammar, and spelling, ensuring that all content is both accurate and high quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality content within deadlines.
  • Work alongside Web Marketing team to create new SEO content that improves website visibility and organic reach. Revise existing web pages as needed to improve optimization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to produce relevant, research-driven content, incorporating findings into day-to-day work and relaying insights to help shape content strategy.

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in product marketing and content writing, preferably in the EdTech, Behavioral Health, or Benefits Administration sectors.
    • Familiarity with topics such as Mental Health, SEL, MTSS, Behavior Management, Professional Development, and Special Education is a plus.
    • Track record of collaboration with graphic designers, studio and production teams to develop cohesive, visually dynamic marketing collateral.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Ability to translate complex topics into accessible and engaging content for educators and decision-makers.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback in a positive, constructive manner.
    • Proficiency in SEO principles and digital content creation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with content management systems and collaboration tools (e.g., WordPress, Asana) is a plus.
    • Experience with EdTech, Behavioral Health, or Benefits Administration tools and platforms is an advantage.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to work with cross-functional teams.

Benefits:
  • Generous health, dental, & vision benefits package
  • Flexible paid time off
  • 11 paid company holidays
  • 401k + matching
  • Parental leave
  • Access to our award-winning RethinkCare platform supporting neurodiversity in the workplace through parental success, professional resilience, and personal wellbeing
