The RFP & Proposal Writer will report to the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations in the Sales - Health & Benefits Department. This role is responsible for providing sales support, market analysis and prospecting assistance to sales teams and leadership to drive growth and ensure an overall positive customer experience. Manages complex proposal RFP (REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL) generation with appropriate areas of the organization. Leads the appraisals/reviews and identifies missing information and compiles questions, investigates, and resolves issues. Generates, oversees, and completes complex proposals, questionnaires, and RFP requests by collaborating with colleagues across the organization, and with our external partners and clients. Leads proposal appraisal and review activities, identifies missing information, compiles questions, and investigates and resolves proposal issues. The ability to personally manage various priorities and meet deadlines, or achieve work requirements ahead of schedule, is a must. The importance of service excellence for our internal and external partners amidst a fast-paced, dynamic work environment is critical for overall success in this role.
• Provides sales support to our sales teams and leadership.
• Manages and supports efforts that drive enterprise target goals.
• Ensures an overall positive internal and external customer experience.
• Manages high-volume RFP proposal generation.
• Possesses the ability to effectively manage job responsibilities in a dynamic work environment; both as a sole contributor and a team contributor.
• Meets deadlines by optimizing enterprise collaboration.
• Effectively uses technologies such as Salesforce and Loopio
• Leads review and appraisal activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
Years of Experience: • 2-4 years of experience in handling administrative and technical tasks supporting a sales team . Degree: • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Communications, or related field . Certification: N/A . Skills & Abilities: • Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a solid team collaborator and individual contributor.
• Strong relationship building skills required with a passion for servicing internal and external clients.
• Advanced organizational skills with a drive to respect and meet challenging deadlines.
