Your role as an LCSW will involve a variety of critical responsibilities, aimed at ensuring comprehensive patient care:

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and progress notes in accordance with our department policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including discharge plans that incorporate psychosocial assessments.
• Engage in consultations with families or support systems to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment and efficient discharge planning.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to patient circumstances and evolving needs.
• Conduct regular meetings with patients to provide counseling, evaluate treatment efficacy, and make necessary adjustments to therapeutic strategies.
• Perform ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress, ensuring adaptability in treatment approaches as required.

To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Masters's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• A valid LCSW license issued in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical social work or mental health setting.
• Current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (or in progress).
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated, particularly in managing documentation and billing hours effectively.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be considered an asset:

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth and virtual counseling practices.
• Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices and therapeutic modalities related to substance use disorders.
