Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Scheduler/Pre-Registrar, you will efficiently manage incoming phone calls and fax requests to schedule outpatient tests, thereby ensuring a seamless experience for our valued patients.
Every day you will meticulously complete the pre-registration of scheduled patients, and verify that all valid provider orders are accurately obtained, contributing to the smooth operation of our services.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail in scheduling and pre-registration, and an unwavering commitment to patient satisfaction.

  • Maintains scheduling system: ensures schedule is uptodate with no conflicting appointments.
  • Performs preregistration process through timely, accurate, and courteous completion of patient clinical and financial data by telephone.
  • Accurately schedules patient exams in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of medical insurances and the financial responsibility for the patient.
  • Checks insurance eligibility.
  • Responsible for all incoming lines, handles numerous specialty calls, initiates calls to providers.

Must live in Denver Metro, Colorado. 

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Office experience in a healthcare environment, medical terminology, knowledge of CPT/ICD 10 codes, ability to multitask and prioritization skills

Preferred

  • One (1) year previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience
