Job description


We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. This role is responsible for analyzing healthcare-related data, developing reports, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analysis, SQL, and data warehousing best practices, with a focus on supporting healthcare-related data systems.
Responsibilities:

Analyze healthcare-related data to support business decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL and other BI tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
Perform data profiling and validation to identify data anomalies.
Document data processes and maintain technical documentation.
Provide regular project updates to customers and maintain strong communication.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical training as needed.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Perform additional duties as required to support project and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of healthcare business analysis experience supporting business initiatives through data analysis, writing business requirements and user acceptance testing of various systems
5+ years of SQL development, including performance tuning.
3+ years of experience working with State Medicaid and CHIP agencies or equivalent healthcare payer
Basic understanding of CMS reporting requirements for Medicaid
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
Bachelors or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team collaboration and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with PERM, T-MSIS, CMS Federal Reporting or similar projects
Experience in developing Adult/Child Core Measures, HEDIS, CHIPRA or similar quality metrics
Experience with healthcare-related data systems.
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
