Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, other county/agency staff, and/or contracted resources
  • Create, review, and maintain project management plans, schedules, meeting agendas and minutes, risk/issue logs and lessons learned at a minimum.
  • Manage projects according to the approved Governance policies and procedures.
  • Utilize the availabletool suite to track milestones, tasks, and deliverables against the baseline, taking action to address any variance, and reporting variances and corrective actions to the PMO Manager.
  • Schedule, prepare for and facilitate project meetings.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, escalate and/or address issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support a team atmosphere to promote team productivity.
  • Support project portfolio maintenance as needed; updated Governance manual policies procedures as assigned.
  • Work with PMO Manager to establish performance expectations.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in managing large, complex multi-year Salesforce implementation projects.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of PMBOK project management practices include cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, resource management and change control.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Agile Project Management and IT governance methodologies, tools and approaches to successful project implementations.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, encourage and influence others to perform.
  • Incorporate experience with modern collaboration and visualization tools such as Mural, Microsoft Visio, or Lucidchart to support interactive requirement gathering and process design.
  • Add emphasis on data and reporting awareness, including defining KPIs, reporting needs, and data quality considerations, given the importance of outcomes tracking in non-profit environments.
  • Strengthen alignment with Agile delivery practices, including familiarity with tools such as Jira for backlog management and iterative delivery.
  • Expand the role slightly to highlight change management, stakeholder enablement, and user adoption support.
  • Consider explicitly referencing non-profit domain areas such as case management, grants management, and program outcome tracking.
  • Add a light emphasis on aligning requirements to measurable business or mission outcomes.
  • Include awareness of emerging capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., automation and AI features) to help future-proof the role.
  • Ability to analyze, produce solutions and solve project issues.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across business groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • Agile Certifications preferred.
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred.
