Position Overview

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility while promoting a collaborative virtual work setting. You will connect with diverse clients from various backgrounds and settings, primarily engaging in outpatient care through teletherapy. As part of your role, you will work from home while maintaining connections with peers for ongoing support and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions using established evidence-based practices to tackle an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate customized treatment plans that encompass their holistic needs and facilitate their path toward recovery and enhanced well-being.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, prioritizing their safety and mental health stability.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in adherence to state and federal regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of progress and interventions.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care offerings, including referrals to community resources and follow-up strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance the effectiveness of interventions and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health concerns. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in Washington State as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a wide range of clients.
• Commitment to cultural competence and the provision of affirming care to individuals from all backgrounds.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with an ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Knowledge in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with integrated care practices, collaborating with medical professionals for holistic client care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
