Job description

This is a TRAVELING Safety Manager role. The Safety Manager is responsible for supporting the organization’s Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System through the implementation, administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of safety programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role serves as a field and operational resource to management, supervisors, foremen, and employees to reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, property damage, environmental incidents, and regulatory exposure while promoting a positive safety culture.

The Safety Manager reports to the Director of Safety, Corporate Safety Manager, Operations Manager, or designated executive leadership. This position exercises no direct authority over production operations except when imminent danger conditions exist and immediate intervention is necessary to protect personnel, property, or the environment.
