At NorthBay Health the Advanced Practice Professional a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Specialty is required to function as a member of the multidisciplinary medical management team. The Physician Assistant is a health care professional with advanced education and training in the care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The PA works under the direction of a licensed physician. The Physician Assistant is also directed by standardized protocols and procedures and in collaboration with the supervising physician.

Compensation Structure
NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1-5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.

Qualifications
Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current California Physician Assistant license.
- NCCPA certification and board certification.
Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree or higher required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, including completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license.
- National board certification through ANCC, AANP, AACN, PNCB, or another recognized certifying body.
All Candidates
- Two years of experience as an APP in a related specialty and ambulatory care preferred.
- Current AHA BLS/CPR certification (or equivalent).
- Current DEA registration with Schedule II prescribing authority.
- Current Furnishing Number, if required for practice.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate patients' physical and emotional health status.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Current knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and standards of care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and standard office technology.
- Experience with electronic health records; Cerner or Epic experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.

$88.42 - $107.45 per hour
Nurse Practitioner
$97.99 - $119.16 per hour
Compensation is determined based on directly related experience. Maximum rates reflect providers with 20 or more years of applicable NP or PA experience.
