As a Virtual Licensed Professional Counselor, your contributions will include:

• Delivering weekly evidence-based therapy sessions to adults experiencing a variety of emotional disorders, utilizing synchronous live video technology.
• Employing active listening and insightful questioning techniques to help clients articulate their feelings and personal challenges.
• Utilizing symptom self-assessments and performance metrics to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring individualized and effective care.
• Facilitating supportive group therapy sessions, encouraging peer interaction and the sharing of experiences among clients.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with best practices and legal requirements.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse adult population grappling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions, as well as chronic pain management and end-of-life concerns. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their emotional landscapes and facilitate their personal growth and recovery.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• An active LPCC license issued by the State of California, ensuring compliance with professional regulations.
• Proficiency in using computers and teleconferencing tools for therapy delivery, with prior telemedicine experience considered a strong advantage.

Candidates are preferred to have at least two years of recent experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions to adults facing mental health challenges. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
