As a remote therapist, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions in the comfort of your own space or in an established outpatient office setting when needed. This work arrangement is designed to accommodate your schedule while ensuring accessibility for the families and children you serve. • Conduct individual in-home therapy sessions or group therapy sessions at our outpatient center, utilizing therapeutic techniques to address the specific needs of each child.
• Facilitate skill-building sessions focusing on anger management, coping mechanisms, and social skills to help children reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
• Support families in enhancing their decision-making capabilities for effective management of in-home behavioral challenges, providing tailored strategies and support.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.
• Maintain and submit all required documentation within designated time frames, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing progress notes.
• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and contribute recommendations for improved family support.

This position focuses on providing therapeutic support to children aged 3 to 20 years who are facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. The therapist will work directly with these young clients and their families to create supportive, adaptive environments that foster growth and resilience. Understanding the specific challenges these families face is central to building effective treatment plans and interventions.

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Must have an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Georgia.
• Availability to provide a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with weekend flexibility being a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and registered vehicle are necessary to travel to clients’ homes or designated workspaces.
• A successful criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required prior to hiring.

• Experience providing positive behavior support methodologies.
• Previous work with children aged 3-20, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is highly preferred.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
