Support roll forming machine design and related tooling (preferred experience)

Collaborate with electrical engineers on motor selection, drives, sensors, and control layouts

Apply HVAC and thermal considerations where required (cooling, ventilation, heat management)

Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic stress analysis as needed

Support prototyping, testing, installation, and commissioning of machinery

Troubleshoot design issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain organized design documentation, BOMs, and revision control

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience designing industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment

Strong mechanical design fundamentals (structures, motion systems, bearings, gearing, drives)

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar)

Experience producing detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings

Familiarity with electrically driven machinery (motors, gearboxes, VFDs)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with roll forming equipment or roll forming software

HVAC or thermal system design experience

Exposure to electrical schematics and machine controls

Experience with automation, sensors, pneumatics, or hydraulics

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine assembly
