As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in various key responsibilities that directly impact clients’ well-being:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, formulating effective treatment plans that address their unique challenges.
• Support families in navigating healthcare resources and link them with essential community services to enhance their support network.
• Operate in a crisis-driven environment, drawing upon your expertise in dealing with substance abuse, domestic violence, child maltreatment, trauma, and other mental health conditions.
• Educate and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members regarding client psychosocial stressors, ensuring coordinated care that promotes positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, adhering to best practices for documentation of patient histories, treatment processes, and follow-up care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. The diverse nature of our clients requires a counselor who is adaptable, empathetic, and skilled in employing therapeutic techniques suited to a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.
• A strong background in providing counseling services to a diverse and multifaceted client base.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications and experiences are highly regarded:

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or crisis intervention.
• A background in working with underrepresented communities, providing culturally competent care.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Furthermore, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
