Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, emphasizing flexibility and work-life balance. Our scheduling is structured to support a typical business workday, with hours set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth platform ensures that you can provide therapy in a convenient and safe manner, using the latest technology to connect with clients across geographical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist at Century Road Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' daily lives.
• Collaborate with clients in developing personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique circumstances, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as required to reflect changes in symptoms or needs.
• Engage in regular consultations with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care that holistically addresses clients’ mental health needs.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and team meetings to refine skills and deepen knowledge in the field of mood disorders.
• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness about mental health issues and fighting the stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse population that spans various ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
• In-depth knowledge of treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists.
• Demonstrated success in managing cases and achieving positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to develop rapport with a broad spectrum of clients.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working in a remote therapy setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for virtual counseling.
• Previous roles that required a strong advocacy component for mental health education and stigma reduction.
• Active engagement in community outreach or involvement in mental health initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
