  • Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring that their specific goals, needs, and cultural contexts are acknowledged and respected.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), through individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring patients in acute distress have access to immediate support.
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, adhering to our clinic's policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate patients and their families by providing psychoeducation that empowers them to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to enhance client outcomes.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and research in mental health to continually incorporate best practices into your therapeutic approach.
  • Uphold ethical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse population of individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, making it essential for our counselors to provide culturally sensitive care. This role is vital in creating a positive impact on our community by delivering tailored mental health solutions that resonate with our clientsโ€™ lived experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • Proficiency in working independently while also thriving within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of related experience is required, we value candidates who have demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and a strong understanding of culturally competent practices. Experience in a remote telehealth setting is a significant advantage.
