Job description

Accomplish Health is the industry leader in telehealth obesity care, redefining remote medical weight management and medical bariatrics. We provide evidence-based stigma-free care managed by obesity specialized clinicians and dietitians. Our mission is to help people of all body sizes find the right access to care and live better.

Our clinical model leverages pharmacotherapy (prescription drugs), nutrition therapy, health coaching, and connected devices (e.g., scales, blood pressure cuffs, etc.) in a completely virtual environment. We're building patient experiences that make it simple for people to get treatment and build sustainable, measurable healthy habits that lead to long term health. 

We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our fast-paced startup as we reimagine obesity care in the US.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
  • Uses critical thinking skills to develop and refine care plans, actively involving patients in implementation to achieve wellness goals.
  • Familiarize yourself with Accomplish Health's coaching program and deliver a tailored health and wellness coaching experience while acting as an accountability partner to help patients achieve their health goals
  • Provide empathetic and responsive care
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nutrition science and nutrition-related health topics
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nutrition-related programs for members
  • Use digital tools, content, and communication to provide patients with the support and resources necessary to achieve their goals
  • Maintain licensure and remain in good standing with governing body
  • Trains and mentors junior staff members as needed

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (Required)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
  • One (1) year of outpatient counseling experience in weight management or bariatric surgery, required
  • Experience working in a remote environment and/or a startup company, desired 
  • Possess excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to interpret lab results as related to nutritional status of patients
  • Ability to organize multiple projects for efficiency
  • Analytical skills sufficient to work and solve problems with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize constantly shifting workload
  • Be a Team Player
  • Work independently and exercise initiative with only minimal direction in a virtual environment to establish and meet deadlines
