Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Regional Float Pool Nurse at CHI Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple Omaha Metro locations.

Your success in this role comes from your ability to expedite our responsiveness to facilities with the greatest staffing needs, deploying your expertise as a qualified clinician who embodies our policies, procedures, and core values.
- Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
- Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors
- Administer medications accurately and safely
- Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated
- Keep up with Physician orders

This Regional Float position will support our PCPU departments.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an RN nursing program.
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
- Basic Life Support is required upon hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon hire
- Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
- Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
- 2 years of RN experience
Preferred:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing
