This role is based in Waco, Texas, but it is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comforts of your home while maintaining a flexible schedule. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals, ensuring comprehensive and integrated care for our clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use history, mental health status, and treatment requirements.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate strategies to address both substance use and underlying mental health issues, ensuring a holistic approach to each client's recovery.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, registered nurses, and case managers to deliver seamless care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Educate and support clients' families, helping them understand the recovery process and their role in sustaining their loved ones' long-term sobriety.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation that complies with regulatory standards, ensuring clear communication regarding client progress and treatment efficacy.

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges related to substance use. Many are navigating the complexities of mental health concerns alongside addiction, requiring a nuanced and informed approach to therapy. Your role will be integral in fostering an environment of trust and support that promotes healing and recovery.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Specialization or prior experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a strong ability to develop rapport with clients and motivate them throughout their recovery journey.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• At least two years of relevant experience working in mental health or addiction treatment settings.
• Experience with telehealth or remote counseling methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems that aid in documentation and client management.
