Amity Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our innovative team. In this full-time remote role, you will provide essential mental health support to individuals struggling with addiction and related mental health challenges. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility to work from your home while remaining connected with a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to mental health care. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate appropriate intervention strategies.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, adapting interventions as necessary based on progress and feedback.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic and continuous client care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records complying with all legal regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Regularly participate in clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Our focus is primarily on individuals grappling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide immediate support to clients in distress, deliver trauma-informed care, and utilize evidence-based practices to address emotional crises, including suicide prevention and crisis management. Your expertise will help vulnerable populations navigate their recovery journey in a compassionate and culturally sensitive manner.

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An active and independent LMHC license is mandatory for this role.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with mental health trends and practices.

• Experience in addiction therapy and working with individuals facing substance misuse challenges.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client documentation efficiently.
