Amity Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our innovative team. In this full-time remote role, you will provide essential mental health support to individuals struggling with addiction and related mental health challenges. You will play a critical role in assessing client needs and implementing customized treatment plans that facilitate recovery and promote overall well-being.

Work Environment

This is a remote position that offers the flexibility to work from your home while remaining connected with a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to mental health care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, adapting interventions as necessary based on progress and feedback.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic and continuous client care.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records complying with all legal regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Regularly participate in clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on individuals grappling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide immediate support to clients in distress, deliver trauma-informed care, and utilize evidence-based practices to address emotional crises, including suicide prevention and crisis management. Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • An active and independent LMHC license is mandatory for this role.
