Position Overview

Amity Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial intake assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and financial readiness for treatment.
  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that reflect culturally sensitive approaches to therapy.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques, to assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly explore their feelings, challenges, and goals.
  • Provide ongoing support and adjustments to treatment plans based on progress and client feedback.
  • Encourage clients to develop coping strategies, adopt positive behaviors, and promote self-reflection to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate client records, document session notes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in counseling practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups dealing with a range of mental health issues. You will assess and address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, providing empathetic support tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Your work will contribute significantly to improved mental health outcomes and empower clients to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
  • Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services as a licensed professional counselor.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is preferred, as it enhances our ability to connect with a broader client demographic.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
  • A commitment to delivering culturally responsive and respectful care.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
