• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a thorough understanding of their mental health status.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique requirements, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) during treatment sessions.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress diligently, keeping records and adjusting treatment plans based on individual needs and feedback.
• Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical regulations at all times.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
