Base Salary Range: $101,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with flexibility for urgent staffing or operational needs

About GlyCare

GlyCare is a growing medical group specializing in consultative inpatient diabetes and glycemic management. We partner with hospitals and health systems across multiple states to deliver dedicated inpatient diabetes management services through GlyCare-employed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Position Overview

GlyCare is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead multi-site operations for facility-based provider teams across multiple hospital systems and states. This role is ideal for a hands-on healthcare operations leader who enjoys supporting clinical teams, solving staffing challenges, improving workflows, and using data to drive consistent service delivery.

The Practice Manager will oversee GlyCare-employed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants assigned to partner facilities, ensuring each site is staffed, supported, compliant, and aligned with GlyCare standards and facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

·         Remotely oversee daily operations, provider coverage, staffing plans, and workload across assigned partner facilities.

·         Operationally supervise and support Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, including scheduling, coaching, performance management, and annual evaluations.

·         Coordinate planned time off, leaves, vacancies, unexpected absences, PRN coverage, and cross-facility staffing needs.

·         Partner with GlyCare’s internal Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, Credentialing, Quality, Compliance, Revenue Cycle, and Information Technology departments to address operational challenges and provider performance concerns.

·         Monitor APP documentation standards, attendance, productivity, compliance, and quality measures.

·         Maintain staffing trackers, dashboards, reports, and operational data to support workforce planning and leadership decision-making.

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field.

·         5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, medical practice management, hospital operations, or clinical program management.

·         3+ years of direct people-management or staff-supervision experience.

·         Experience managing healthcare providers or clinical teams across multiple facilities, regions, or states is a plus.

·         Strong skills in provider scheduling, workforce planning, staffing coverage, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance monitoring.

·         Familiarity with hospital credentialing, privileging, onboarding, facility access, and multi-state workforce requirements.

·         Ability to use operational metrics, reports, and dashboards to identify trends and recommend practical solutions.

·         Excellent leadership, communication, organization, conflict-resolution, documentation, confidentiality, and follow-through skills.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools

·         Ability to provide professional references from direct supervisors in your last two roles upon request.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience remotely managing Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or Advanced Practice Provider teams.

·         Experience leading inpatient or multi-site healthcare operations.

·         Knowledge of APP scope-of-practice, supervision, delegation, collaboration, documentation, billing, compliance, and revenue cycle requirements.

Work Environment and Schedule

·         Based in Jacksonville, Florida, primarily during standard business hours.

·         Flexibility required for urgent staffing or operational needs outside normal business hours.

·         Operational leadership role; does not provide clinical call coverage.
