As the Divisional Vice President of Resident Care, you'll play a critical leadership role in supporting clinical excellence across a portfolio of Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. Through strategic leadership, regulatory oversight, quality improvement initiatives, and team development, you'll help ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centered care while supporting the success of community and regional clinical leaders.
Your Role:
As the Divisional Vice President of Resident Care, you will provide multi-state clinical leadership and operational support to communities throughout the DMG Northeast division. This role partners closely with operations, resident care, and executive leadership to drive quality outcomes, survey readiness, risk management, compliance, occupancy support, and leadership development initiatives.
Position Highlights:
  • Status: Full-Time, Exempt
  • Schedule: Traditional leadership workweek with flexibility required based on business and operational needs.
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Eligible States: NY, NJ, PA, VA, MD, DE, and GA
  • Rate of Pay: $180,000 - $200,000 Annual Base Salary
  • Annual Bonus Opportunity: Up to 25%
  • Travel: 50% - 75% regional travel throughout the assigned portfolio

What You'll Do:
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to Assisted Living and Memory Care communities across the division.
  • Monitor compliance with state regulations, company policies, and resident care standards.
  • Conduct community assessments, compliance reviews, survey readiness visits, and quality audits.
  • Partner with community and regional leaders to identify trends and implement corrective action plans.
  • Support quality assurance, risk management, infection prevention, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Guide communities through survey preparation, regulatory reviews, and operational challenges.
  • Review resident care concerns, resident rights issues, grievances, and level-of-care determinations.
  • Support occupancy initiatives through resident assessment review and clinical admission evaluations.
  • Assist with community transitions, acquisitions, assimilations, and leadership changes.
  • Mentor and support Regional Directors of Resident Care, Directors of Health & Wellness, and other clinical leaders.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and clinical metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders on staffing, labor management, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related healthcare field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of senior living leadership experience.
  • Multi-site and multi-state clinical leadership experience required.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations, operations, and best practices.
  • Experience leading quality assurance, survey readiness, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing and mentoring clinical leaders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing electronic clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
  • Passion for serving older adults and advancing person-centered care.
