About the Organization

Christian Family Care & Counseling Services is a leading mental health provider located in Rockford, Illinois. We specialize in delivering high-quality mental health services to underserved communities, focusing on fostering resilience and personal development. Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who offer comprehensive care through evidence-based practices. We believe in the power of a supportive and nurturing environment, which reflects our core values and mission to serve individuals seeking guidance and assistance.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while collaborating with a dynamic team of mental health professionals. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will connect with clients through secure virtual platforms, ensuring that quality care is accessible to all. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment that prioritizes effective communication and client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy plans for a diverse client demographic.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitating therapeutic sessions with individuals, groups, couples, and families, ensuring that each client's unique needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge of the latest advancements in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on providing support to individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients often come from backgrounds with limited access to traditional mental health services, making your expertise and compassion invaluable in guiding them toward better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse range of clientele.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care will be given preference. Experience in a clinical setting where providing compassionate care and establishing therapeutic relationships is critical will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Malpractice insurance.
