Desmond Couple Therapy, Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for individuals, couples, and families.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and systemic approaches, tailored to client needs.
• Facilitate a safe and supportive therapy environment, building rapport and trust with clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals facing personal struggles, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families dealing with communication or conflict issues. Your work may involve addressing mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more, ensuring that each client receives tailored and compassionate care. The goal is to empower clients through understanding and skill development, contributing to healthier relationships and improved well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• An active LMFT license in Oregon; we will also consider candidates with LCSW or LPC licenses.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling or therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

• Experience working with diverse backgrounds and knowledge of multicultural counseling practices.
• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to narrative therapy, EMDR, or play therapy.
• Previous experience in a community health setting.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
