  • You will serve as a PRECISION STRIKE MISSION PLANNING ANALYST in the CRUISE MISSLE SUPPORT ACTIVITY PACIFIC (CMSA-PAC) COMMAND of the COMMAND GROUP PACIFIC (PAC) located in HONOLULU, HI.
  • You will serve as a TLAM Mission Planner and expert in all aspects of policies, procedures, tactics, and tools utilized in the production, distribution and maintenance of operational strategic, operational tactical, and flight test missions.
  • You will work directly with weapon system program office engineers, software developers and site contractors continuously to evaluate planning tools and embedded complex models for discrepancies or areas of enhanced research and information.
  • You will serve as a Navy Certified TLAM Navigation Product Analyst and expert in all policies, procedures, missile guidance systems, theory, probabilities, analytical techniques and maintenance tools required.
  • You will serve as an expert in weapon systems air space management products.

  • Work is performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility which has no windows, Wi-Fi, or cell service.
  • Personal electronic devices are not permitted in the SCIF without specific written authorization by the Special Security Officer on a very limited case by case basis.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.

Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience as the senior lead of KSAs and duties required for Standoff Precision Strike Mission Planners.
  • Experience planning, organizing, and directing the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings and reports utilizing Microsoft office tools to Department Heads and Senior Leadership.
  • Experience in operating CPS/LRHW hypersonic weapon variants, capabilities, flight characteristics and constraints, planning and strike execution.
  • Experience utilizing Joint Targeting processes, requirements, and the relevant INDOPACOM joint targeting and strike operations community contacts.

GS-12:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience providing support of TLAM and CPS/LRHW weapon system and adversary country Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) interactions.
  • Experience executing of national intelligence resources, photogrammetric theory and techniques in measurement and location positioning of imagery objects used in the generation of TERCOM, DSMAC and VUP navigation products
  • Experience performing with TMS, TMPC and CPT interactive computer flight planning, modeling and analysis systems used to generate and evaluate missile commands and predicted weapon system performance including probabilities of navigational updates, probabilities to penetrate enemy airspace and assessment of predicted terminal accuracy necessary to achieve mission objectives
  • Experience handling with Tomahawk Navigational Toolset (TNT) used to exploit imagery, generate target coordinates, construct, and analyze Digital Elevation Matrices (DEMs), DSMAC, and VUP navigation products for mission suitability.

GS-11:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience providing aid to mentor and supervisor for operational Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missile variants, capabilities, flight characteristics and constraints, planning and strike execution.
  • Experience handling of route planning strategy and techniques used in tactical low-level terrain following and medium altitude flight environment.
  • Experience applying previous training knowledge as a Navigation Product Analyst trainee, leading to certification while continuing production of operational TLAM and CPS missions.

GS-09:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience implementing TLAM and CPS operational planning and execution communities in increasingly difficult developmental assignments.
  • Experience utilizing and continuing production of operational CPS missions. Production, training, and assignments are conducted under close supervision and with assigned mentor.
  • Experience assisting mentor and supervisor with their knowledge of weapon systems program offices, planning systems and the development processes.
