Position Overview:

HCO Behavioral Health is seeking qualified and dedicated Provisional Licensed Mental Health Professionals (PLMHP) to join our team as Telehealth Counselors. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in providing outpatient mental and behavioral health services to clients aged 6 and up. The ideal candidate will hold Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (PLMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) and possess a passion for delivering quality counseling services through telehealth.


Responsibilities:

1. Telehealth Counseling: Conduct individual and/or family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring a high standard of care for clients.

2. Assessment and Treatment Planning: Perform initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and collaborate with them to develop personalized treatment plans.

3. Client Engagement: Foster a supportive and therapeutic relationship with clients, maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.

4. Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any required paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

5. Remote Case Management: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, agencies, and resources to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.

6. Licensing and Credentialing: Commit to completing all required paperwork for provisional licensure and credentialing in the state of Louisiana within 30-45 days from the date of acceptance.

7. Professional Development: Actively participate in supervision sessions, training programs, and other opportunities for professional growth.


Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a LCSW, PLMFT, LMSW, or CSW in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience working with clients of various ages, with a focus on children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective telehealth interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
- Proficient in using telehealth platforms for counseling services.
