• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's needs.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and couples therapy, focusing on improving interpersonal relationships and coping strategies.

• Document treatment plans and client progress accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our focus is on providing support to those who have historically had limited access to mental health services. This may include clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your ability to build rapport and offer tailored therapeutic strategies will be key to successful outcomes.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• A proven ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team to enhance client care.
• Familiarity with EMR software and telehealth communication tools.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse recovery is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and staying up to date with best practices in mental health.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and caseload.
