Your contributions will be supported by a network of professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other social workers, who work closely with each other to ensure the highest standard of patient care at our detox center.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive psychosocial assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' mental health conditions, strengths, and specific needs.
• Delivering evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and additional healthcare professionals to develop and maintain coordinated care initiatives.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and prescribed medications to facilitate an understanding of the recovery process.
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a variety of proven therapeutic modalities.
• Working closely with the treatment team to create and implement treatment plans that align with patient goals and preferences.
• Advocating for patients' rights and needs within the complex mental health system to ensure they receive the necessary support for their recovery journey.
• Facilitating therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions, as well as participating in discharge planning meetings to ensure continuity of care.

Your focus will be on patients undergoing detoxification and dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. You will provide crucial support and tailored interventions that take into account individual backgrounds and treatment histories, empowering clients to work towards recovery and improved mental health outcomes.

The successful applicant will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring professionalism and competence.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice independently.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and effective crisis intervention strategies.
• The ability to engage collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, sharing insights and fostering a culture of shared learning.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience working in detoxification settings or with patients facing substance use disorders, enhancing understanding of this unique patient population.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy methodologies, given the remote position of this job.
• Training in additional therapeutic modalities, which could contribute to a wider array of treatment options for our patients.
