Financial client is seeking a senior-level IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Consultant to establish and mature its foundational IT governance framework, policies, standards, controls, and supporting documentation. This is a highly execution-focused role requiring a practitioner who can independently develop documentation and governance artifacts while collaborating with IT, Security, Risk, Audit, and business stakeholders.

The consultant will assess existing materials, identify gaps, and create net-new policies, procedures, standards, and controls documentation aligned with banking regulatory expectations. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of FFIEC guidance, NIST frameworks, IT auditing practices, cybersecurity governance, and financial services compliance.

This is not a project coordination or PMO role. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on builder capable of writing, implementing, and operationalizing governance content within a regulated banking environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
