• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of seniors’ psychosocial needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), tailoring strategies to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Utilize crisis management techniques to address immediate concerns and risks facing clients and their families.
• Provide ongoing support and education to families, helping to navigate the complexities of caregiving for elders.
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations regarding mental health practice.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.

This role specifically focuses on the senior population, addressing both their mental health needs and social determinants of health. The ideal candidate will work closely with older adults facing challenges such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, and issues related to aging. You will be an invaluable resource for seniors and their families, providing guidance on available services and advocating for their well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for older populations, including specialized knowledge in risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in understanding and addressing age-related issues and developmental needs of seniors.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working directly with seniors in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Experience with community resources and referral processes to support client needs beyond mental health services.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, enabling effective communication with a broader client base.
