Job description

The Vocational Support Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service to all customers who inquire about the various services at the One Stop Center, reviews the center’s upload report to see which customers have uploaded documents to determine eligibility for WIOA funded services, and provides follow up services to customers that have successfully or unsuccessfully completed training programs to ensure they are employed in a training related industry.

This is a remote role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer phone calls and emails from clients, providers, and partner agencies
  • Direct customers to designated employment websites to submit documentation for eligibility
  • Contact customers who have inquired about services but have not submitted documents
  • Support customers with completing and uploading documents to the WorkSource Georgia Portal either virtually or in the center
  • Create applications in the system for all customers 
  • For eligible customers, invite customers to the regional Starting Your WIOA Program Session
  • Enter Case Notes in a timely manner for engagements with customers in the WorkSource Georgia Portal 
  • Report, track and enter client activities on required WIOA forms on the Georgia Workforce System and other approved ARWDB/ARC approved client tracking systems (includes completing client case notes and documentation of services provided)
  • Knowledgeable in use of all resources available for clients, including services available through DFCS, HUD, and employment resources on-site and throughout the community
  • Provide post-employment follow up services as required
  • Attend continuous trainings, conferences etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

    • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Good organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurring responsibilities
    • Detail oriented
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    PAY RANGE:

    CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.  Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors:  federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.  Our ranges may be modified at any time.

    For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.  The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

    Pay Range:  $16.74 - $26.92 per hour
