Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
  • Develop customized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of client situations and presenting concerns.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and systems theory to facilitate healing and understanding among family units.
  • Assess and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Document client interactions and therapy sessions through secure electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Provide crisis intervention when needed and develop safety plans for clients in distress.
  • Foster a therapeutic environment that encourages clients to express their thoughts and feelings freely, promoting trust and open communication.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges, such as relationship issues, parenting concerns, emotional distress, and family dynamics. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in family therapy or a related mental health setting, demonstrating your competence in working with diverse populations.
