Job description

Position Title: Remote Associate Attorney
Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000 / Year, DOE
This role is critical for managing the full lifecycle of cases, from initial assignment through resolution. The Remote Associate Attorney will handle a diverse caseload, typically managing 30 to 40 cases at any time. This position offers the opportunity to develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with clients, conduct depositions, and draft motions. The firm frequently goes to trial, providing valuable experience and training for the right candidate. A remote work environment allows for flexibility, though it requires an independent approach to onboarding and case management. The candidate must be located in Northern California.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of cases from initial assignment through resolution
  • Conduct depositions and examinations under oath
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Prepare legal opinions and analysis
  • Lead trials as first chair after gaining experience
  • Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with clients
  • Work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration

Requirements:
  • Barred in California
  • Must be located in Northern California
  • 1-5 years of litigation experience, including discovery, motions, and depositions
