Performance Drone Works (PDW) is building the next generation of tactical robotic systems used across defense, national security, and public safety missions. What You'll Do

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Active U.S. State Bar Membership
• Certificate of Good Standing from State Licensing Authority
• Ability to obtain and maintain Authorized House Counsel status in the State of Alabama
• Minimum 4 years as a practicing attorney
• Proven leadership in the implementation, training, monitoring, and execution of a compliance and ethics program
• Superb verbal and written communication
• Ability to research novel concepts and issues + cogently distill it for executives
• Impeccable judgment
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred:
• In-House Counsel at a defense contractor
• Law Firm Associate/Partner
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and phones. Must be physically capable of walking between the office and production areas and attending events or meetings off-site as needed.
Work Environment
When on-site at PDW locations, this role operates in an office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and will require occasional travel to customer locations or facilities. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities.
