Remote | Full-time

Compensation: $144K - $164K

Our client is a pioneer in automated, on-chain economic security, providing a sophisticated system that enables crypto protocols to optimize risk management and capital efficiency. By analyzing protocol mechanics and scenario implications through world-class custom EVM simulations, the platform provides actionable insights trusted by leading decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols to manage and secure billions of dollars in assets.

The organization is seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the team. Reporting directly to the Platform Team Lead, the successful candidate will play a critical role in building data-driven dashboards and tools to support complex risk analysis. This role involves close collaboration with research and protocol teams to deliver high-quality frontend and backend components that power essential security insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership: Take full accountability for projects by breaking down high-level goals into actionable tasks, proposing technical approaches, and driving execution from end-to-end.
  • Frontend Development: Design and implement scalable dashboards and tools that visualize protocol risk, ensuring tight integration with backend data sources.
  • API Management: Build and maintain robust GraphQL APIs and data services to power the user interface and internal tooling.
  • Platform Evolution: Own the development, architectural improvements, and performance optimization of the Alert Portal.
  • Insight Presentation: Partner with research and protocol teams to understand DeFi protocols deeply and present findings through intuitive, data-rich interfaces.
  • Mentorship: Support junior engineers by sharing best practices in full-stack development and high-quality engineering standards.
  • Technical Excellence: Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous testing, documentation, and comprehensive code reviews.
  • Innovation: Identify product opportunities and technical improvements across the platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

Interview Process

  1. Initial Screening: 30-minute Recruiter / HR Call.
  2. Hiring Manager Interview: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  3. Technical Evaluation: 45-minute whiteboard exercise.
  4. Executive Interview: 30-minute discussion with the Founder / CEO.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with modern technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.).
  • Data Expertise: Strong experience with data warehousing, pipelining, and infrastructure.
  • Frontend Proficiency: Proven track record of building React-based web applications and data-intensive analytics dashboards.
  • API Design: Solid understanding of API design, specifically using GraphQL.
  • Independent Execution: Proven ability to independently manage projects and deliver production-grade features with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in dynamic, high-ownership environments with shifting priorities.
  • Domain Passion: Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for DeFi and blockchain technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in USA remote or NYC to work in the Brooklyn office or Europe
  • Experience designing, developing, and operating cloud-native services (AWS/GCP).
  • Strong foundation in frontend best practices, including accessibility, performance, and testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
  • Interest in or curiosity about DeFi and blockchain technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Our client offers a comprehensive compensation and perks package:

  • Salary: $144,000 - $164,000 USD (commensurate with experience and seniority).
  • Health & Wellness: 100% employer-paid health benefit options (Medical, Dental, and Vision) for employees and their dependents.
  • Financial Security: FSA or HSA options (depending on selected health insurance) and pre-tax commuter benefits.
