The Deposit Operations Development Manager plays a critical role in leading departmental initiatives that drive efficiency and support strategic goals. This position oversees project planning, resource coordination, and timeline management, while also supporting automation efforts through RPA troubleshooting and process reviews. The individual collaborates across teams, analyzes business requirements, and facilitates change management to ensure successful implementation and adoption. The Deposit Operations Development Manager is proactive and detail-oriented, with experience in improving processes and delivering impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

Leads the planning and execution of Deposit Operations projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and resource availability Defines detailed project tasks and identifies resource requirements, coordinating across teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives Manages resource allocation and develops comprehensive project schedules, adjusting timelines and priorities as needed to meet evolving business needs Collaborates with the Project Management teams to secure resources and support enterprise-level projects Conducts thorough reviews of departmental functions to identify manual processes suitable for RPA conversion, contributing to increased efficiency and reduced operational risk Prepares and delivers reports for the Deposit Operations Division upon request, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives Develop strategies to implement initiatives and improvements across people, processes, and technology, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term vision Analyze business and functional requirements provided by end users, translating them into actionable solutions that support both strategic and operational initiatives Facilitates regular project status meetings and stakeholder updates to ensure transparency, manage expectations, and address risks or roadblocks proactively Supports change management efforts by developing communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes or technologies Monitors project performance using key metrics and provides recommendations for adjustments to improve outcomes and efficiency Serves as a liaison between Deposit Operations and other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and collaboration on shared initiatives Maintains detailed project documentation including charters, timelines, risk logs, and post-implementation reviews to support governance and continuous improvement Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 3 or more years' related experience Knowledge of RPA programming such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Apps, Visio, Task Capture, Power Bi, Power Automate Advanced knowledge of Excel 5 or more years progressively responsible work experience in Deposit Operations of a financial institution or similar position Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
