The Job:

As aSr. Manager, DEWALT, North America - Strategic Operations, you'll be part of the Tools & Outdoor Commercial DEWALT team driving strategic and operational priorities across the North America business. Reporting to the Director, DEWALT, North America, you will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional initiatives, improving business processes, enabling execution against strategic objectives, and driving operational excellence across the DEWALT portfolio. This position is based in our Tools & Outdoor headquarters in Towson, Maryland, with remote locations considered.

You'll get to:

  • Lead strategic operations that support DEWALT North America business priorities and long-term growth objectives.
  • Partner with DEWALT NA General Manager to drive cross functional alignment, execution, and accountability for key business initiatives.
  • Support annual and long-range business planning processes, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable operational plans for DEWALT brand.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance organizational effectiveness, speed, and execution quality, with a particular focus on Commercialization of Innovation.
  • Drive operating rhythm activities, including business reviews, performance tracking, leadership updates, and cross-functional governance.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting tools to measure progress against strategic and operational goals.
  • Analyze business performance, market dynamics, and internal operating trends to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved on time.
  • Partner with leadership to prepare executive communications, presentations, and recommendations that support decision-making and business alignment.
  • Help ensure successful execution of major initiatives across the North America organization by removing barriers, coordinating stakeholders, and driving follow-through.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and collaboration across teams.
  • Leverage technology and tools, including artificial intelligence to streamline workflows and drive improved effectiveness.

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for senior leadership.
  • Proven project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience building strong partnerships across cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a disciplined approach to execution.
  • Proactive, agile, and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
  • Results-oriented leadership style with a track record of improving business performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business intelligence or reporting tools is a plus.

The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00
