How does a remote Rheumatoid Arthritis nurse coordinate care and maintain effective communication with patients and the healthcare team?

As a remote Rheumatoid Arthritis nurse, you will frequently use telehealth platforms, phone calls, and secure messaging to monitor patients' symptoms, manage medication schedules, and provide education on disease management. Collaboration with rheumatologists, primary care providers, and pharmacists is typically conducted via virtual team meetings and shared electronic health records. Can a rheumatologist work from home?

Rheumatologists typically work in clinical settings such as hospitals or private practices, but some administrative or telemedicine roles may allow remote work. Telehealth platforms enable certain consultations to be conducted remotely, though many patient examinations require in-person visits. Overall, direct patient care usually necessitates on-site presence.
