Job description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering design of building structural systems.
- Must have demonstrated experience in the structural design for steel and concrete structures on a variety of projects.
- Must have advanced working proficiency in STAAD Pro
- Must have working knowledge of Revit.
- Must have a solid working knowledge of building codes and other applicable structural codes.
- Should have and display strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and clients.
- Perform calculations of structural systems (hand calculations, computer-aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling analysis (Staad)).
- Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to structural designer
