Key Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic sessions via secure video conferencing, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Utilize various solution-focused treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address the individual needs of clients.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the specific objectives and needs of each client, regularly reviewing and adjusting as necessary.
• Facilitate discussions that promote client awareness of their thoughts and behaviors, guiding them toward actionable insights for their personal growth.
• Regularly monitor client progress through structured assessments and feedback, helping clients build effective coping strategies that enhance their quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with stable, low acuity adults who present with a diverse range of mental health needs. Your clients may be seeking assistance for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and stress management. By focusing on individual strengths and encouraging self-efficacy, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Candidates must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice independently in California, including:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates should have no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Strong computer proficiency to utilize our teletherapy platform efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience working with diverse adult populations in a virtual setting is a plus. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a proven track record in building rapport with clients will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client load. Additional benefits include:
