Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients focusing on their relationship with alcohol, tailoring your approach to each individual's goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the client’s aspirations and recovery journey.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Treatment, to deliver effective interventions.
  • Encourage and integrate all available community recovery support options (e.g., Alcoholics Anonymous, SMART Recovery) in conjunction with our organizational support.
  • Engage in regular supervision and training sessions to stay current with best practices and enhance clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with our Content Manager to produce “Expert Insights” and lead support groups as desired, contributing your knowledge to broader community understanding.
  • Participate in monthly peer review groups to foster professional development and strengthen team dynamics.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily includes individuals seeking to reshape their relationship with alcohol, whether aiming for moderation or complete abstinence. You will work with a diverse population, ranging from those seeking to understand their drinking habits to clients actively engaged in recovery. Your expertise will guide these individuals through their unique challenges, empowering them with the skills and support necessary for lasting change.

Qualifications
  • Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in California.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional training or experience in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and a solid understanding of harm-reduction models.
  • Exceptional clinical engagement skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion in your interactions with clients.
  • Knowledge of community recovery support systems and a commitment to integrating these wherever appropriate.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a remote or telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 120,000 – 140,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus for successful candidates.
