Job description

SUMMARY
Perform administrative activities as an integral part of the Appraisal Support Unit, providing necessary information and completing processes to determine the cost of damage to the vehicle/property.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitors and follows-up on outstanding assignments.
  • Maintains supplemental hot line.
  • Sets reserves for Salvage and/or moves vehicles to Copart.
  • Updates appraisal assignments and/or AS400 with updated information.
  • Monitors the Claim Service Request System and inputs claims transactions.
  • Reviews total loss report for open rental assignments.
  • Opens, date stamps, and researches incoming mail.
  • Processes underwriting requests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires a high school diploma or academic equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Requires computer literacy and the ability to learn software applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent data entry skills. Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
