• Establish positive, trusting relationships with patients through empathetic listening and support, ensuring a safe space for open discussion.
• Diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, employing evidence-based practices and methodologies that are tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
• Create personalized treatment plans that account for the individual circumstances of each patient, adapting these plans in response to ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals and groups, fostering a collaborative approach where clients feel empowered to participate in their healing journey.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, providing updates and making recommendations for adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with external specialists and resources to refer clients when specialized care is needed, facilitating continuity of care and comprehensive support.

The therapist will work with a diverse array of clients, catering to individuals and family units from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. Common issues addressed include anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and other mental health concerns. • An active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required for this position.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is necessary, ensuring a foundational knowledge of therapeutic principles and practices.
• Proven experience providing individual and/or group therapy, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining a heavy caseload.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques is preferred, accelerating the transition into our remote-based role.
• Experience in working with diverse populations, understanding cultural nuances in mental health, is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate holistic approaches within therapy practice, focusing on the overall health and wellness of clients.
