Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced SailPoint Application Administrator Lead to support Kadiak and our government customer in Albuquerque, NM.  This position can be remote.

The Senior SailPoint Application Administrator Lead performs independently or as a key multi-functional team member providing expert-level SailPoint application administration with a focus on customization of the application to meet Identity and Access Management (IAM) business process requirements. The Senior SailPoint Application Administrator Lead will support and grow the current SailPoint deployment by serving as the lead technical POC in design, support, maintenance, and integration of SailPoint. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities as the Technical Lead include the following.

  1. Oversee and direct all aspects of SailPoint/IAM application.
  2. Serve in a Senior IT Consultant role to the IAM Federal Manager which includes advising on security audits, industry best-practices, new technologies, and aligning IAM enterprise technology with business needs.
  3. Conduct SailPoint/IAM application systems administration duties including SailPoint/IAM application installation in coordination with vendors, application management, alerting, monitoring, maintenance, performance tuning, secure user management, delegation of roles, documentation of system configurations, patching, OS maintenance, back-up/failover, and HA design.
  4. Serve as the primary technical POC working with groups of Business Analysts, Project Managers and Systems Administrators to customize SailPoint/IAM application and conduct underlying Systems Administration.
  5. Plan, conduct and direct the analysis of SailPoint/IAM system problems, and provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and recommending SailPoint/IAM systems solutions to specific situations to improve the efficiency of internal administrative operations, organizations, or management.
  6. Assist with development of IAM roadmap for SailPoint and integration with ServiceNow to enhance ITSM best practices related to Service Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
  7. Administer SailPoint/IAM application and customize the application according to defined IAM business requirements.
  8. Direct testing, piloting, documenting, monitoring and implementation planning for new SailPoint/IAM services and environments.
  9. Resolve day-to-day SailPoint/IAM application environment technical issues, including troubleshooting of auxiliary components such as SQL server, Tomcat, ServiceNow or underling support infrastructure. 

Essential duties and responsibilities as the Administrative Lead include the following. 

  1. Responsible for SailPoint/IAM status reports, project tracking, and performance metrics as well as providing reports on SLAs, availability, incidents and resolutions, etc.
  2. Responsible for establishing and maintaining individual/team goals, ensuring timely completion of projects, developing/maintaining quality customer relationships, interviewing of all resources, performing employee performance evaluations, and handling staff issues.
  3. Responsible for infrastructure planning of SailPoint/IAM systems/application administration duties including application upgrades, security updates, application management, alerting, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning.
  4. Provide supervision of development, maintenance, and support activities, including task delegation, monitoring, and status reporting.
  5. Possess in-depth experience with SailPoint/IAM and SQL integration with Server Administration, SQL Database Administration and Reporting, in order to serve as resident SQL expert maintaining multiple SQL environments.

  2. Initiate, implement, and/or oversee routine or as needed administrative and managerial project-related activities, including creating analysis and feedback tools, schedules, work plans, management reporting tools, testing plans, meeting planning and materials, training plans, and other related tasks.
  3. Analyze, evaluate, and/or make recommendations for improvement in the efficiency of internal processes, administrative operations, organizations, or management.
  4. Support a wide range of IT management activities including strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy/standards development, resource management, knowledge management, architecture/infrastructure planning/management, and auditing.
  5. Assist in the development of directives and the design, development, documentation, and implementation of various reporting systems.
  6. Aid in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
  7. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications 

  1. Bachelors degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university is preferred and/or minimum of 7 years’ experience in direct supervision or four years’ experience in IT project management/ administrative/contract support.
  2. Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years’ IAM experience administering a large environment (including Cloud) in addition to the skill sets defined in the job responsibilities above.
  3. Experience with SailPoint or an equivalent IAM application is required.
  4. Experience with web technologies is desired (XML, SPML/SOAP, Web Services, etc.)
  5. Experience with web application servers is desired (Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, etc.)
  6. Experience with PowerShell and Visual Basic Scripting is a plus.
  7. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
  8. ITIL V3/2011 Foundations, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect desired.
  9. SCRUM Master desired.
  10. A demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office and Microsoft Project.
  11. Customer service skills and excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, and written).
  12. Able to obtain a public trust security clearance.
